Who you are dealing with
This site is published by ISP GROUP LLC, a company established in the United States with its registered office at 16395 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, Florida 33160. Throughout this page, “we” means that company.
The content is information, not an offer
Descriptions of goods, corridors, categories, capabilities, lead times and any figures shown are there to explain what we do. They are not an offer capable of acceptance and they do not create an obligation on either side.
A commitment between us comes into existence only when it is set out in a signed contract, or in a proforma invoice we have issued and you have accepted. Until then, prices, availability and schedules are indicative and subject to change without notice.
The guides are general, and your case may differ
The guides on this site deal with customs classification, trade remedies, documentary credits, certificates of origin, packaging rules and similar subjects. They are written carefully and from practice, and they are general explanations rather than advice on your particular shipment.
Rules change, they differ by country, and they turn on facts we do not know about your consignment. Do not act on a guide alone where money or compliance is at stake. Confirm the position for your own transaction with the relevant authority, your customs broker or your lawyer, or ask us and we will do it with you.
Where a guide names a specific rule, a standard or a trade measure, it reflects our understanding at the time of writing. We update pages when we learn that something has moved, but we do not guarantee that any page is current on the day you read it.
Accuracy and availability
We take care to keep this site accurate and we correct errors when we find them. We do not warrant that it is free of error, nor that it will be available without interruption. We may change, add to or remove any part of it at any time.
Intellectual property
The text, structure, design and code of this site belong to us, except where stated otherwise. You may read it, print it and quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not republish it wholesale, present it as your own, or use it to train a commercial model without asking us first.
The photographs are not ours. They are used under Creative Commons or public domain licences and each one is credited, with the photographer and a link to the original, in the file media/CREDITS.json. If you want to reuse a photograph, take it from the source named there rather than from this site, and respect its licence.
Links to other sites
Where we link to an external site we do so because it was useful when we wrote the page. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what they say or do. A link is not an endorsement.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published here, including lost profit, lost contracts, duty or penalties assessed against you, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.
Our obligations in an actual transaction are governed by the contract for that transaction, not by this page.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute about this site are governed by the law of the State of Florida and the federal law of the United States as applicable, and the courts sitting in Miami-Dade County, Florida have jurisdiction. The law governing a supply contract is whatever that contract says, which is frequently not Florida law and is negotiated case by case.
Changes and contact
We may revise this page. The version in force is the one published here. Questions go to info@ispgroupgc.com, or ISP GROUP LLC, 16395 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, Florida 33160, United States.
This page is written in plain language to be useful rather than to be exhaustive, and it has not been reviewed by counsel. Before relying on it as your website terms, have a lawyer read it.
